Lucky brother and unlucky me. Nw Oregon sheds.
« on: September 09, 2014, 06:23:25 AM »
So my younger brother had some crazy luck last week while we were out bowhunting elk.  First he finds this nice blacktail shed when I wasn't with him. Then him and I were out hunting on Monday I believe after opening weekend and he finds 2 bull sheds, one of which was a nice 6 point, and both of them I literally walked over top of. I am always keeping my eye out for sheds but these ones were very tough, both mostly buried in grass or covered in moss and hidden by ferns. The 6 point, we were coming down into this small draw in the timber and I heard my brother slip and fall on his ass, I turned and laughed at him,  then took a few more steps and he gets up and picks up a beautiful 6 pt shed right where I was standing! Then later that same day I walked over top of this small 3 pt bull and he just happened to kick a tine with his boot. Here are the pictures.

Could have been worse he could of slipped on his ass and fell on the shed.
