It's crowded. You'll see 20 orange vests for every one deer. Just picture a hillside covered with blaze orange flowers. Then you have all the guys who their only optics are their rifle scopes so they glass by pointing their rifles at you while they look through their scopes. It's ridiculous out there anymore. Good luck and keep your head down.

Don't stand close to anything that may be mistaken like horns from your head... Be prepared to return fire I was shot at last year with bright orange vest on also... Fun times.... Man I was wrong to think that when I got out of the ARMY that I was done being shot at. I was lucky the guy was a horrible shot and yes I was in a public area.....

Yep.  Hope you do too.  Really need snow and a migration to make the General season good.  No High Hunt in the upper Entiat this year so that should leave a few extra buck so we hope they get some high elevation snow and move down.
The local deer will be fun anyway but the big high mountain bucks are safe for the September 15-25 High Hunt in the Entiat.

The entiat is a very good general season mules deer hunting areas.   It will not be hard to find mules deer bucks that are 4 points or better !!!   No need to hike.   Mainly driving.  Hit potatoe creek,Mud creek,steliko,crum,Oklahoma,stormy,Preston...... Alota guys say burn some boot leather!!!   That's nonsense!!!   Burn some rubber!!!

You forgot to mention Johnson Creek.  Tsillan cellars that has the biggest Entiat Buck sucking grapes of the vines right now through the bird netting. Just ask for permission there and all you would have to do is stand in the vineyard and wait for him. :dunno:

The vineyard sounds like a good hunt "if" they give permission.   How are the roads getting in the vineyard?
