Sighted in for muzzy opener(would you adjust anything)
« on: September 23, 2014, 03:10:24 PM »
Took 3 shots @ 60 yards. Looks to be the right elevation for 100. I am shooting a .50 caliber, 2 pyrodex pellets and a .245 grain powerbelt copper sabot. Wondering if this is good or if I should move my sight to shoot a tad more right. (Which way would I move my rear sight by the way) I am pumped for the opener this Saturday!!

I'd move it if you have time.  Move rear sight RIGHT if you want it to go right.  Wouldn't do anything on the elevation of your shot.  Good luck

I'd move it, why not?  It'll give you more confidence

Wouldnt you move the rear sight to the right? I would want my windage to be lined up.

I would adjust your sights, move the sight right to move your point of impact right.

 :yeah:

Move rear sight in the same direction you want the bullet to move.

If you are aiming for a center shot, as it is, your shots will keep getting farther and farther to the left the longer the distance to the target if you don't make any change.

Thanks. For the life of me, I couldn't remember or figure out which way to move it. Maybe just 1 mm?

Hold up your two index fingers like a front and rear sight. You can visualize which way to move the sights.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.
