cowiche general season
« on: October 18, 2014, 07:25:01 PM »
Heading over to cowiche next week for spike season.  I'm staying at a friend's cabin which is how I ended up hunting  there.  I had only hunted the colockum, until last year. Then I got drawn for a rimrock tag. Having never hunted there I was at A total disadvantage. My goal now has become to explore new country every year. Weather it be deer or elk season.  Not only is it fun but it will be very beneficial If and when I ever get drawn for tags again.  My question is , is there any places in the cowiche that you can't drive Into. It seems every time I plan a hike on Google earth, I end up bumping into a road.  We are camped near Reynolds/nasty creek.  Thanks guys
If it looks fishy, fish it. If it doesn't look fishy, fish it anyway!

Make sure to check the cowiche thief thread, lots of stuff being stolen including trucks.

Lots of roads in there! We hunted that area the last 2 years. Lots of big country and a bunch of elk, and a few big yotes in there.
