Here are some places, in order of my personal preferance:

1# Mt. Home Rd (goes between lower Blewett Pass and Leavenworth)
2# Old Blewet Highway/Scotty Creek (starts at the top of Blewett Pass, dumps out lower on the pass)
3# Mission Creek (starts in Cashmere, just past the elementary school)
4# Camas Meadows (make sure you get past the private property)
5# Ruby Creek (dumps out on Blewett pass in the tight "S" curve deep canyon just before you break out in the lower area by Mt. Home Rd)
6# Number 2 canyon out of Wenatchee...drive to the end where there is a gate and start hiking

If you buddy can't find a nice buck in those places...I can't help much then...:)

TY G-C-R for not mentioning the other good spots

At least I didn't mention going up to Beehive Reservoir....crap, now I spilled the beans on the "good spot"...

Figured that since it's a limited draw permit with very few given that it won't hurt anyone's general season hunt. Besides, I'm in kinda the same spot, as my kid drew a doe permit for the late muzzleloader season in the Satsop, but thanks to Green Diamond this year going to "pay to play" I'm trying to find spots to take him...it's nice to help others out, as long the favors are returned sometime by someone. That's what this place is for!
