WWU student needs an archery elk hunting mentor
« on: October 21, 2014, 11:11:16 AM »
I am looking for someone near Bellingham to get him started.  He needs to learn to call.  Shoot correctly, and understand the basics of archery hunting.

He is in fantastic shape and got his eagle scout badge in high school.  So he is not a flake.

If this interest you please PM me...

Few goods bow shops in the area plus a couple ranges both would be great spots to spend some time and meet some local people.

Silver Arrow Bowmen in mount vernon... About a 30 min drive from WWU.  I would be happy to take him shooting, and try and teach him some of the basics. I am by no means an expert but i can call, and shoot a bow.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
