According to a telephone poll of "registered voters" by the Seattle PBS station...

I wonder what the odds are that they polled registered voters in Seattle?  Why not poll "likely voters" during an election cycle when democratic voters are supposed to be disinterested?

I still hold out hope.  I personally added 5 undecided voters (that I know for sure) to the no on 594 vote...

I spent most of the day talking to people with the I-594 bill in hand.  Hopefully there are another 30 that will vote no.  Many were on the fence and just didn't know all the details of the bill.  All they knew is they didn't want to see criminals going unchecked.

the best thing to do is get people to read the entire text of I-594. http://sos.wa.gov/_assets/elections/initiatives/FinalText_483.pdf

I don't understand people who think criminals get their guns at gun shows and dealers.  :dunno: I think it may pass & am scared of that due to the Seattle libs but should be shot down in the courts for infringement

Very scary for sure. Unfortunately the NRA isn't putting much effort into fighting this battle.  Sad but I think this will pass.

i don't think any law official in there right mind wants any thing to do with the enforcement of this law (police) also if they think that this la will make any thing safer they ore once again dumb a** libs distorting the country one dumb law after another. go on the streets where guns are being traded for drugs and sold by gangs ext then they might have a bit to go off. i have many other words but i will keep them at bay for now

Would need to prove who owned the property at the time the law was added to the books before you could show there was an actual transfer of control of said property after that date.

rule #1 in media, repeat something enough times and people will think it's true.  "gun show loophole"

90% of the initiative is nearly impossible to enforce. The only thing they can really control is the gun shows...unless they develop a nation wide registry, send blackhawks to each house to find out what guns you currently own, and have a satellite tracking each gun owner 24-7 to watch when a gun "exchanges hands".

It will pass, but any prosecution attempt under the new laws will be fruitless and a waste of money.IMO :twocents:
