I'm planning on hitting Teanaway because I have a warm, dry cabin there.  Don't know where to find elk but at least I'll get a good night's sleep. :)

I'm not camping this trip but will stop by D Rock to say hi. My partner from last year and I are staying at the Naches motel since we're only able to hunt a couple days.
Drenalinjunkie, are ya camping with Kyle and Rick off the 1601 or where?

Right now, nowhere! Pass is closed. Planned to get over today to place treestand for Wednesday's opener. Sitting in line with everyone else waiting to go again :(

after 30yrs of gun hunting, I switched to bow this year, and still don't really have a hunting partner, or know much places around here to go, but I've been able to get out and scout a little, earlier, so I'm gonna try a couple of small sections of land in SKC (454).

They put closed signs over Chinook Pass on the traffic signs in Puyallup and Buckley.  Usually not a good sign.

The 407 need to take my bow out in the woods! Well as deep in the woods as you can get in the 407!  :chuckle:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I'm probably going...to sleep in the truck while the wife hunts :chuckle:  Don't want to shoot a stupid cow and ruin her fun.  Although if I wake up and one is outside asking to get shot... :dunno:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."
