And anti-hunters say what I do is cruel. The rest of nature is far more cruel than I.

Thanks for posting Machias  These are the sort of videos the public needs to see, it shows the wolves in their natural state. Not quite the cute cuddle wolf that pro-wolfers like to advertise.

How long will it take WDFW to finally admit the impact wolves have and are having on WA game herds?

Pretty simple wolfbait, you just hand out 1900 extra deer permits and finish destroying the population, then you can say Ooops, that was a mistake.

Probably less time than it will take some sportsmen to realize wolves are far less of an impact to the future of hunting than things like loss of access and habitat.

Wolf impact will come first and derail any habitat and access concerns.

I've hunted and killed elk and deer in units loaded with wolves.  I've never killed a single deer or elk in a shopping mall parking lot or a 50,000 acre ranch that costs $10k to access.  I imagine my experience is not unique.

According to the comments the guy filming was/is an oil field worker in Canada, not allowed to have a gun on the job site.
Knowing some oil field workers I know this to be true - no weapons allowed.  The radio chatter also fits in with that.

A few years ago, the government of Alberta decided that 6,000 wolves needed to be culled to bring the population under control. I wonder how far they got with that?

That's a dandy buck. It's too bad the wolves will kill him slowly then just eat the hinds out of him and leave the rest for the birds and yotes. Yup, habitat loss!

Habitat loss is a red herring that the people who love wolves like to throw out there to deflect attention from the damage wolves do. It's as if they're saying "since there's habitat loss, you shouldn't pay attention to the damage the wolves are doing at all". Nice try! Habitat loss will always be a major problem. Until our population stop growing, it will continue to be a major problem. Wolves are also a major problem. We can do something about them.  :hunter: Just sayin'. There are two things we can do - manage wolves and close our borders so illegals stop pouring into our country.
