« on: December 15, 2014, 06:29:13 PM »
Anyone know where to enter on public land for camano island? I meant to called the public work department today but never got to it today. Wanted to go walk some trails tomorrow morning cuz I saw it snowed today. My dad said he can't remember but theres only one spot you can park and go in at. Anyone have any idea?

I live on camano and there is some DNR land that was given to the county . But they set there own hunting season on it so instead of being open till the 31st I believe it closed on the 8th. You should be able to find it on the island county website somewere. There was a sign up as you walk into it but its not there anymore. But anyway im pretty sure its closed

There is also public land on Fidalgo and Guemes which are not far away.  I'm not sure of access though.
