That's it. And I just realized you're a Raiders fan too.

Just find it interesting that this piece of property has so many tresspassers every year.  Wondering why that is....and came up with a few plausible situations.   :dunno:
A WDFW employee was caught in there yesterday, trespassing looking for sheds, in the middle of the day and obviously didn't give two *censored*s. He was confronted and told it was his one and only warning and to stay out or his superiors will be contacted next time. We have his name and know exactly where he works, so if you are reading this, next time everyone on here will know who you are too.
Should I say who  you work for if I catch you walking through my property to access public land?

Absolutely, but I wouldn't hold your breath! ;)

A WDFW employee abusing his privledge? Screw him...  He'd have no problem screwing you or me. You gonna get a free get out of jail card from him?

No Utah, but we only want people to stay out, I am hopeful that they have learned, no sense ruining someone's career unless they continue to ignore the law. :twocents:

Phool,

I for one appreciate your perspective.

Just because you could have pressed it to the limit (possibly costing him his job) doesn't mean you needed to.   Your discretion likely taught this person a lesson without throwing him and his family into financial chaos.    Being a decent guy has a way of coming back around..........

And, no, I don't condone trespassing, and I don't trespass - anymore.    Haven't for over 30 years, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't ever trespass as a younger man.   I'll bet I'm not the only one who had to learn the error of his ways in this regard.    I was never caught, but my conscience let me know it was wrong and not worth it.

I hope you're able to find an effective way to cut the trespassing down.

I hate to threadjack, but.....................

*  I hate it when people develop a sense of entitlement (e.g.   I'm entitled to post stupid comments on a privately owned website, ignoring their rules, because......     I'm entitled.   I know I am because my mommy told me so over and over.)
*  I hate it when people invoke America going down hill in their rants/whines.
* I REALLY hate it when entitled people try to invoke a picture of America going down hill just because their entitlement is called out.

Whew.   Now returning to the regularly scheduled thread topic:

P.S.   I do not support trespassing.    :tung:

If you have people regularly trespassing, maybe come to a conclusion that you should sell an acre or two to a conservancy, the state, or dnr to allow public access. Why waste your time when you could be on to bigger and better.

Knowing the property owner and half of the trespassers, I think the property owner has been very gracious, with his discretion, to people caught clearly violating the laws of trespassing (not to mention the malicious mischief with the apples).  With permission,  my family and I have been guests on the property to pick blackberries on several occasions.  A simple respect for private property is the point being made here!

Maybe he should add a warning to the posted signs: "If down these rows you ever go, passing apples to and fro, your picture on HuntWa will show that you're a disrespectful bro."   :chuckle:
