2015 modern firearm Elk season date
« on: January 15, 2015, 07:03:33 PM »
I just saw that somebody had an answer on the Bow season.  Anybody know about Modern Firearm?  I have to put in for the dates in a couple weeks.  Is it going to be the last Saturday of October to the First Sunday in November like it has been?  Any informed guesses would help a lot.

My best guess would be the first full weekend in November, starting it on November 7th. That's the date I put in for. Last season it started on Saturday, Nov 1st.

Ok, I assumed it would be 10/31- 11/8, I just wanted to double check.

My opinion for the Eastside Modern opener would be the last full weekend of October which would be the 24th. It seems like that is the trend that they have been using for the last 10 years or so but I may be wrong.

That wouldn't work because deer season goes to the 27th, and they won't overlap deer and elk.

Deer and elk should run together on the same timeline tho across the board for all methods.
