Anybody know when the last time Weyco let you build tree platforms on their land?

I doubt that was ever allowed under Weyerhaeuser's rules.

How about the bait bucket hanging in the tree. Various sizes holes in the bucket. Obvious bait bucket. Should I call it in?

whats in the bucket ?  kinda strange to bait bears with a white 5 gal bucket...pretty obvious stuff.  i know a guy who baits deer with big tubs of peanut butter hung in trees..puts holes in it so the peanut butter can drip out and he's pretty successful doing it.  i even think i heard that ass-hat canadian guide who bear hunts vancouver island talk about doing it up there for deer.
beer---it's whats for dinner

Hunting bears with the use of bait is legal for timber companies with a depredation permit.

It could also be someone using bait in order to get pictures for their trail camera.

I wouldn't report it. I think WDFW officers have more important things to do.

Weird weird weird stuff today. I found this while walking a rocked forest road. I can not imagine how or why this is on the road. And I really can't figure out what it is either. It won't crack open. Also I found two scuba flippers. I *censored* u not at the end of one of the forest roads.

Looks a ceramic egg that's used for training new laying hens where to lay :dunno:

Found a nice looking spot today with this as well as a few other piles scattered around.  What do you think?  Big Yote, Kitty, or Yogi?  I'm not used to looking for bear crap in the spring.  In the fall it's all full of berries and easy to distinguish.

Saw a deer last Saturday. Went halibut fishing last Sunday. Went out today. Saw a garter snake. No poo. No tracks. No peel. No bears.  Nothing.

First bear tracks I ever saw. A mother and a cub. Then on a different road another set.

I guess I am not sure what I am supposed to do. Walking thru some of that country is ridonkilous. Sit and wait. Walk up and down each logging road. Glass clearcuts. Thx for the help. And to the person that pm'd me a tip on a road. The mamma and cub print are in that area. Thx. It made my trip out there.

Was almost run over by a coyote tonight; twice. He came running right at me along a logging road in knee high grass. Stopped at twenty yards wheeled around and took off. Ten seconds later. Here he came again.
