Rossi makes a nice one in a saddle ring ring 20in or carbine 16in lever action. I think they run $500 ish new.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Here's my Marlin I use for Cowboy Action matches. I think I've had it for almost 10yrs and never had any issues with it. Been a lot of rounds thru that barrel. I put a one piece firing pin in it and it's been slicked up a bit too.

Beautiful rifle. Can't tell if it's got a round or octagon barrel? Looks to be a longer barrel also.. most the Marlins had a short barrel.
I had 2 of them a couple years back and sold them both. I'm kicking myself now.

It's the Model 1894 Cowboy Limited w/24"octagon barrel. Winchester makes the model 73 also but they're pretty spendy.

Can't beat the Marlin for ease of cleaning. Open the action halfway, remove the lever screw, pull the lever out, remove the bolt, and clean from chamber to end of barrel. Not like Winchesters, etc., where you have to push everything back down the barrel into the action. They are more of a pain to take apart.

T/C has barrels for their rifles that are designed for .357 Maximum, but you can shoot .357 Mag and .38 Spl out of them too.  The Maximum is a little longer but a good deal more powerful than the Mag.
