3 otters sold
« on: April 24, 2015, 07:43:01 PM »
3 otters left over from last year at NAFA. Got the check today. 1 XL I&II singed, 1 L#1 and 1 LM I&II slight damage, Total on check $82.82 :ACRY: :ACRY: :ACRY:
Now that is depressing. Glad I sent this years off to the tannery.

On another note I'm doing a nuisance job and took 2 Nutria and a beaver yesterday. That day was worth $250 to me. Shows you where the money is.

6 baby nutria in each nutria. I hate trapping this time of year even if they are just nutes.

Nutrition? Is that a combination of nutria and attrition smushed together.  :dunno:
I get paid per check on this job. Lot of red tape to this location. Must have $2 million insurance, pass background check, 2 safety classes, required to have a hard hat, eye protection, ear plugs and respirator on person at all times.

I bet you feel very safe though, don't you? :chuckle:  sounds like a typical construction site these days. So safe it's dangerous.

From what I was reading online, sounded like the otter market was in the toilet and not looking good. Thats part of the reason I sold my otter for cash at the rendezvous.  I had two medium otter and I sold them for $30 a piece. Didnt have to wait 4 months or possibly more for a check. Last year, I had a XL SEL otter go for a whopping $40.  :bash:
