Moses Lake Bowfishing Tournament -May 30, 31st
« on: May 01, 2015, 02:42:36 PM »
The Washington Bowfishing Association has another event coming up in May @ Moses Lake. We will be registering/launching at Cascade Park but we will be staying/eating at the Fairgrounds. Plenty of camp spots for everyone. We'll have another raffle after dinner. This one is a Big 20 (details posted soon on our website)

Hopefully we'll see you all there.

Shooting was good this weekend at the tournament. Contestants brought in approximately 20,000 pounds of fish in 2 days (1540 fish). That lake got small pretty quick with 39 boats and all the other recreational boats on the water. Still, great times with good friends.

We only weighed each teams "Big 20" per day. Shooters also brought in additional fish. For all the extras we use the average (from the "big 20" results and multiplied it. I figure we were right around 20,000 lbs.

We had two different groups that came in and collected the fish from us. Both use it for Crayfish bait. It's Carp, which works great, or they have to buy salmon carcasses.
