Never ran an ultra, pretty sure I would get bored.

I have ran some of the shorter runs though. Gray rock and badger mountain are pretty fun.

Have you ran any of the shorter trail runs?

JM, which distance in Badger? I've run the trails, but not the event. Road running and groomed trails bore me; mountain hiking trails don't. I don't run many running events; just run on my own mostly. Don't really run a lot actually, just enjoy distance running.

BLR, any interest in running the PCT from Chinook to White? JM?

I just run the 12k's, they're fun and it only take a little over an hour so you don't get too bored.

I'd like to run the PCT from white to Chinook, but between home projects, weddings, family trips and having a 14 month old little girl I hardly have time for anything. The badger run is already over but Grey rock is coming up in July you should look into and see if you want to try it out. Just to warn you the Grey Rock 25k & 50k are pretty brutal, but the 12k isn't too bad it's pretty much just straight up and straight down.

Thanks for the invite though

. I've hiked it but never run it.  It would be a fun run.  You would be better off sprinting it though, mosquito's wouldn't be as bad that way :chuckle:  unfortunately, I've got a torn meniscus that needs fixing before I can even think about running again.

Not an ultra, but this is a fun run. 11.1 miles in the North Cascades.
It fills up quick.

I have hiked the PCT from chinook to white pass and it would be a fun run.  Like others not enough free time;  have to spend it on scouting instead.

Not close to ultra trail running status :chuckle:

Trail running from chinook to white is fun when you are running under a full moon. Usually run the trails off of white pass once a year. Bear creek mtn can be fun to run and drink a few beers at the top.

Just signed up today.

I think I'm going to actually train for this one so I can beat that girl who ran it the year after us.
