Any sew on here?
« on: May 25, 2015, 03:29:07 PM »
I bought a cabelas tent 2 years ago. Only been used a handful of times and the zipper on the rainfly broke. I contacted Cabelas only to be told that there is only a one year warranty on their name brand tents.
I cant believe it, I have never had issues with anything I have bought from them. I even asked if they sold replacement rainflys.- NOPE..
So now I am wondering if anyone here can recommend someone who sews so I can get a new zipper put on my tent?
If its brown knock it down

Theres people that sew all around,The best advice I could give is call up a local fabric store they usually have classes and people that go there to sew all the time.In other words put up a flyer at one of these places,Ask the management there.
You must first be honest with yourself,Until then your just lying to everyone.

Try Tacoma Tent and Awning, I've had them repair tents in the past (20+ years ago) , just a thought since you are in the south end of the sound.

Yep. Rainy Pass is the only place around here I would take a nylon tent for repair.
