Can you share the location?

Its a wrap for Spring season, but if I still had a tag I wouldn't give up yet, you just never know. Its just never a good sign to see this many mature birds running together. It tells me birds are at very end, either that or their pecking order is established like a platoon of Marines! :chuckle:

Not over, but just time to change your tactics ...

Do a turkey fight, use a gobble call, use a different call such as tube call, wing bone, or something else they haven't heard much ....  pattern the birds and be there before they are ....    :twocents:

I am headed out tomorrow to give it one last shot at a second spring gobbler.
There is something just indescribably painful about being stuck behind a prius on the interstate.

Unfortunately there were no double bearded giants for me this year. Had a lot of fun, and had a moose come up to my 8 year old and me to see what was making that God awful racket. That was interesting.
