Drew Chiwawa quality deer!
« on: June 12, 2015, 08:19:23 AM »
Finally drew it after 13 years of applying. Everyone keep your eye open for big bucks in the unit and keep me posted  :chuckle:. Have a pretty good idea of where I will hunt but always accepting hot tips.

Best of luck to you. Someday I'll be fortunate enough to draw Chiwawa myself. Pray for early snows... looks like we could be in for another warm winter with more El Nino on the horizon.

We will see what happens? Definitely hoping for some early weather but not counting on it. I think I should be able to tag a nice buck without weather playing to much of a role. But its always welcome

Congrats! I had that tag 2 years ago. Very fun hunt if you get the weather. Good luck to you.

Sweet!  So jealous!  Snow definitely helps, but not required.

Congrats man. When you head over scouting, let me know and I can join you if you want. More boots on the ground might find that one honey hole for you.

Did you get the rifle tag? I applied for one of the two late muzzy tags but no go for me. Good Luck on your hunt!!

I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled too for the big boys. Been hitting a couple of the migration trails and road systems pretty hard already. Nothing impressive yet, but it's only a matter of time.

I will definitely hit you up. I may be solo my hunting camp will be in Idaho when that hunt starts.
