My dad drew a Spokane north cow moose tag. He will be 72 this fall and still ready to hunt hard. This will be his 3rd year in a row hunting moose. The last 2 were in Canada. He is very excited
not a hard hunt. It is a fun hunt and you will see lots of moose right off the road. Get a hold of me if you need a hand. I love three minutes from where you will be hunting. Good luck
If it aint broke, dont fix it.

Friend of mine drew a bull tag in Hangman. We have shot 2 cows in the last 6 years in the area, but this will be the first bull hunt for us.

Doesn't get much better then that!
People get offended at nothing at all. So, speak your mind and be unapologetic.

Congrats to all the OIL tag winners. There should be lots of good stories and pics to come. I was lucky enough to draw a cow elk tag and a second deer tag also. I'm going to start a thread soon to document this season. It's my goal to get a bear, deer, elk and moose in one season. Bear will be first up in a little over 2 weeks. I'm supper excited about this hunting season! 2015 is going to be my best hunting season so far.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Boom. The Holy Grail of sheep tags. Please..................................................................keep us in the loop. A thread like your elk hunt thread last year with lots of photos will do perfectly, Ernie. Can't wait to see how this plays out. You're going to shoot him with a Sapphire Hawk, right?

It's a little stressful to have drawn the damn thing!! I'm trying to adopt the attitude that I'm just gonna scout and hunt my ass off and be happy... Even if I only kill a little 185 ram.... Hehehe

Seriously though... It's hard to grasp the true opportunity. Last year the MT auction tag was filled in this unit and the tag was bought for $450,000.

I'll start a thread as soon as I get up there and start scouting!

And the 185 part was said tongue in cheek!! I'd be happy as a lark with a 180 with my longbow! Rifle, that's a different story! The only time I'll limit myself to bow is the first ten days, when the tag is archery only.
