Any bugles yet?

Drove around the other night hit some good bugling spots just to hear for any answers nothing quite yet anyone else hearing much action yet?

I was up scouting a couple weeks ago and we got into a couple big herds and there was a lot of talk.  Most of them were spikes but fairly talkative for the most part it was great to hear it atain

I was watching 2 spikes last weekend when another bull ripped a bugle on the next hillside

I'm out near Turnbull NWR (GMU 130) daily - no sound yet. Going out tonight, I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Pretty intense pre rutting on Sunday....100 bugles between 6 bulls before noon...watched a cow get mounted

I made 4 trips to west wenaha in the last 6 weeks. Bulls screaming every day. Too bad I can't hunt it!

It has started! Watched a big 6x6 saturday morning bugling for a couple hours at first light
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

Spent mid afternoon until about 10pm in 340 listening for bugles. Blew off my bugle a few times, along with a cow call. Got a cow to respond. Nothing in terms of bulls.
