Train to Hunt
« on: August 29, 2015, 09:26:13 PM »
I have been checking out this crossfit style training for hunters and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a train to hunt club in South West WA or if anyone is looking to start one? Did pretty good hitting my fitness goals for this years archery season but there is always room for improvement for next year.

You should send a message to BrockA on here. He's a director and would know the answer to your question.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I agree, get a hold of Brock. Also, Kenton, the founder, lives in the Spokane area.

There is nothing wrong with working out to keep your body in shape for hunting season.

Unless I'm not understanding your "Hunt to Train" hashtag correctly?

I agree. I just don't get why Train To Hunt events occur during hunting seasons...? Skip hunting, to train to hunt!

The only event going on during hunting season is Nationals and it's the first weekend of August, in Denver. The WA event is the first weekend in June. Should be alright.
