Nice and grats.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Im not sure on the correct score on the h4 with a five point ? you get it as a six but not sure how to measure as a five since they use the narrow point . my guess is no h4 on a five x. great bull and he scores as a six all day !
My wife told me that I hunt way more than I did when we first got married. I said yeah I know isn't it great !

I ran into you at the gas station on your way home and was wondering if there would be a write up on this hunt.  Sweet bull and an awesome write up!

.... although, I'm not sure if it will be scored as a Rocky Mtn Elk or as a Roosevelt. It was killed between the boundaries of the Pac Trail and the I-5 corridor.

What a great animal you took. Congratulations!

That is a gorgeous stud bull, I'll leave scoring that guy to the experts!  Congratulations.  As for remembering, while I find some of my rifle kills have faded away in memory, I can still see clearly in my mind every detail of every arrow I ever put into a deer or elk.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
