$100 membership and $175 per outing...that $85.00 Western WA Pheasant Permit just started looking cheap!   :yike:

I dunno, the ability to get out and work your pupster without having other dogs and handlers on top of you can be nice as well.

I have the membership covered

Can bring guests. Just split bird costs. Plus can use trap range and they make great pheasant soup after the hunt. More of a later season proposition.

It's a good way to work the dog. You know birds are there, even exactly where if you want. You have that field to yourself so you're not bothered by a crowded Charlie Foxtrot and don't have to worry about some idiot shooting your dog by mistake

Huge fan of cooke canyon. Be there this weekend running my dog. 175 plus the member ship is a bargain, after youve paid the vet bill from running your dog on a public release site.  :(
