This was a great weekend I got to experience the buffalo harvest with a client that has ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease which his son had to harvest the buffalo which was fun to see the excitement on his face and made a perfect shot behind the ear. The owner is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and had us cracking up the whole time

Let's set up your harvest this fall or winter time when the hydes are thick and the buffalo are at the heaviest so if you want to set it up let me know to fill the freezer before or after the general deer and elk season. Buffalo are just awesome animals and to see one down and see the size of them

You mention shot placement....is the behind the ear preferred?
Yes, my FJ is pink, I'm all about Team Jacob, beer is not for the horses nor is whiskey for the men, they are both for me.

Is this offer still going to be available for 2017/2018?  I've got a daughter who might want to take a buffalo in the snow!

Yes it is I will try to keep it the same

It's good so you don't damage the meat and kills them instantly they drop like a sack of potatoes

That's interesting, I suppose it's a much larger target area than the same spot on a deer or elk. Also, shooting at a relaxed animal I woiuld guess at relatively close distance?

That's interesting that a lot of people shoot deer in the head also at a couple hundred yards and they are relaxed also at least the buffalo sense something is going on so they bunch up so it's hard to get a shooting lane

That is a problem with herding animals. I've heard that is the most difficult aspect of shooting the larger herding animals like Bison, Muskox, etc...

Here is a winter picture of the buffalo in Eastern Oregon which the coats are nice and thick and not have to worry about Slipping hair and the buffalo are at the heaviest this is perfect for filling the freezer especially unsuccessful during the general hunting season

They have a butcher shop local but if you donít live near by then I would suggest taking it to a butcher nearby your home because they donít ship the meat so you would have to drive all the way back to pick up the meat. I was told by a butcher that they could ship the meat within Oregon so if you live in Oregon let me know
