Yesterday, a buddy of mine from work asked me what duck hunting was like.  I told him if he wanted to go today that he was more than welcome but he would need his own waders because my extra pair would be way to small for him.  This morning he met me at Samish Unit with his new Walmart waders (hey, they work!) and his archery camo for a morning hunt.  We got skunked, but he learned about walking slowly through flooded fields, marshes, etc., because you can and will eventually find a hole.  Next weekend I'll probably get him on some seaducks and show him something else.

HA!  Buddy called and asked to borrow decoys.  He got a gift card to Cabelas but doesn't want to make the drive just yet.    I told him to just go tomorrow after work.  I'll probably end up digging through my stuff and finding some older ones to give him to help him out but he'll still have to rig them.
