gun range spokane valley
« on: November 17, 2015, 09:58:57 AM »
I have heard of a gun range Spokane valley that has metal targets I think out to 800-1000 yards. Does anyone know exactly where it is?

Mica Peak Gun range?  They do have some long range targets there.  The guy who runs it can be a little rough around the edges.  If he tells you to do something, better do it or he will throw a fit!

Yes, Mica Gun range

http://www.inas.us/SVRPC.html
location on this web-site.

a friend went out there recently and said they had everything over 300 yards shut down due to a conflict with a neighbor.  Not sure the specifics, but that was mid October.

Confirmed with a  friend that the neighbor is challenging the gun range legally, and thus has limited to the 300 yard limit.  The neighbor in question has lived there for something in the neighborhood of 18 years and now wants to divide up the acreage and sell it and thinks the gun range will hurt his pricing.  the range has been there for something like 50 years from what I have heard.  Hopefully the growth management act protects this as this range as that is what the GMA was designed to do on one side of the act, was to protect things like gun ranges and gravel/rock pits/quarries.  crossing my fingers as it is a good place to practice long distance.
