David Bowie Dead at 69

Love him or not, he was a great entertainer. Like Mile Davis, his music went through many transformations. He was also a very technically adept musician.

Goes to show we are all mortal. He died young, but also "lived hard".

I just saw this.

This will be an issue only for those of a certain generation (I doubt young people know much about him).  David Bowie (David Jones) was an extremely talented musician.  You are right, P'man, he successfully morphed several times during his career.  It is always sad to lose talent like this, because their abilities go with them to the grave, leaving us bereft of their gift.

For those who don't know, at the time of his death he had been married to the same woman for 23 years, and together had raised a son.  Appearances can deceive.

Yep, a loss for sure.  My daughter's favorite movie when she was a pup was Labyrinth.  "Through dangers untold, and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle; beyond the goblin city, to take back the child that you have stolen. My will is as strong as yours, and my kingdom as great... you have no power over me."

RIP Mr. Bowie

I never cared for his music, and he was a fruitcake too.  Did he even hunt or fish?

Jagger's still alive.
At least from what I know.
But Ya even though I never liked Bowie much I like Changes, and a couple of his other songs. When I seen him on the Bing Crosby's Christmas special back in the early 70's Bings and his rendition of Little drummer boy got me to appreciate Him.
So yeah RIP Bowie.

When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

No not really figured he was being an   S
Just don't get why someone has to joke about someone's death.
