I've ordered a few parts from them, if I remember right their prices were a little on the high side.

So can you shoot .264lbc as well as 6.5 grendel?

Yes, unless you have the original 6.5 Grendel chambering. The original 6.5 Grendel chambering had a shorter throat and there were huge issues with Factory Hornady 123gr SST's and A-Max's being shoved into the lands upon chambering. Causing pressure issues and malfunctions. This has since been corrected and any 6.5 Grendel barrel you order today will have the proper chamber. The .264 LBC chamber is the better chamber of the two. They got the throat angle correct with the .264 LBC, surprised Bill Alexander couldn't figure it out over all that time it took him to run A-A into the ground.

A 8 twist is the only way to fly.

A 8 twist Black Hole .264 LBC barrel is the way to go. They shoot all the factory offering just fine and if you wish to reload for it. The Hornady New dimension dies are readily available and the best bang for your buck.

May want to do it sooner than later. Black Hole has been raising their prices. Their 6mm barrels are now $400.00 and $15.00 shipping if you order straight from them. The other option is a premium barrel blank. Benchmark, Krieger, Brux, Lilja, Schnieder, Broughton etc. then have a smith spin it, thread it and instal the barrel extension for $200.00 and your into a good barrel.

If you go with Black Hole, have it chambered for the "Type I" bolt. You can use any 7.62x39 AR15 bolt on the market. Also take a look at AIM Surplus they have a large selection of AR parts, free shipping on allot of items and you can pick up a complete 7.62x39 bolt carrier group(Complete) for around a $100.00 shipped.

Get in touch with jay.sharkbait. He does cerakoting I believe. I'm fairly sure he did some work on my 6.5.
