For what it's worth, there is value in buying a raffle ticket beyond the hunt itself.  For me, dreaming/thinking/planning/scheming about these hunts is almost as much fun as doing it.  Well, maybe not almost, but it still is pretty fun.  At any rate, application season is a fun time for me...basically it starts in December with the limited draw sheep units in Alaska and ends late in the summer after all the draw results have been posted.  And every time I buy one of those stupid tickets or put in the application, I'm buying a little hope.  Deep down, I know I probably won't draw a super-premium tag this year, but it's still fun to dream! Let the snarky comments begin!
Why don't you draw another moose and give me more than a day to get it done.

I put in for goat every year, but I will do it out of spite this year just to stack against the big money guy. ;) Root for the underdog!

Best of luck to all.

x3. I didn't mean to flood the draw with my two goat tickets. The lady at the hardware store screwed up and sold them to me by accident. Moose is my investment this year. 9 days left. Good luck to all

With all the tickets I bought in goat, and muley I hope I don't get drawn for both.  :hunt2:

Well, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I just flooded the blacktail raffle (10 tickets :chuckle: ) the mule deer raffle (10 tickets :chuckle: ) and the north central raffle (1 ticket :chuckle: ). So I wouldn't even bother buying into those raffles if I were you...

The goat would be easy it's in my backyard, muley would require some driving if the pass closed to early. :chuckle:
