Salmon opener
« on: June 22, 2016, 08:58:29 PM »
So where does everyone plan on going for the opener on July 1st.  I a supposed to work that day but might take it off and hit area 6 or 11 and 13.  Depends if my deckhand can play.

Priest Rapids Pool, I'm getting my sturgeon thing on. 2 a day and they don't have to be recorded on my card!!! I'd rather battle a 6' sturgeon than a 30" salmon any day.

NMFS has signed WDFW's permit. Should be on WDFW's desk today. Expect all of the closed waters to be open very soon!

So are most of the sound rivers opening July 1? I think I just read an article that said it's a go.

Won't we have to release coho in most areas still?
