Anyone who would shoot that elk is a pathetic excuse for a hunter and person, i agree this thread is pointless.
:yeah:. I have watched this elk since it was a calf orphaned there. It's nice to see her there and alive every tin you drive by.
i don't think anyone one here would actually shoot it, they are just joking around guys!!! This PC world is what's pathetic!! No one can even take a joke anymore!!

Oh I'm sure that someone would shoot that elk. Meat in the freezer, you know.

I would call her easy Pickens.

Yep, hopefully TR doesn't find her, he'll want a cow mount for Bullwinkle to hang out with.  :chuckle:

If the WDFW gets a call on the definition specifically of "can't hunt" in this GMU, you will know his "helper minions" have found her.

If a cow elk walks up to me during the season to try and nose me she will never make it close enough to touch me unless she doesn't care about the arrow I will have already shot into her.

:yeah:

I was hoping this would get stated.

Here is a question, if you wouldn't shoot an elk because it is domesticated, not scared of humans, doesn't run or actually walks up to you then..... would you also pass on a three legged elk or one that was injured and couldn't get away?

My guess is some would shoot both and some would shoot one but not the other.  Why?

Unless it is wearing Mardi Gras beads, a pirate hat, or a horse blanket, how are you going to know it's buttons?  She looks just like another elk to me.   :o

Sounds like she is on the other side of 90 from my cow tag this year but if she happens to wander across the road unless she is telling out "I am buttons" I won't give her the time to explain herself.

Clearly she'll be the one walking up trying to steal your hat??

Buttons is an elk that relates to being a goat and sometimes other barn yard animals, she also rallies the firefighters from time to time. Not sure what bathroom she uses.  :dunno:

I think elk and other barnyard animals pee on the ground.

I'm shooting the first legal elk that I get in range.  I hope there is a 3 legged elk on my favorite hill that would make me happy happy.

If buttons walked up to me she'd end up in freezer. Actually any elk for that matter. ;)
