Hey. Look at the bright side. There's a 1% chance of rain.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I'm sitting here hydrating and I'm kind of bored so I thought I'd add todays workout on here.

400 meter warm up jog
stretch
1 round of stadium stairs (pack)

drop pack

50 yd sprint
10 lunges
50 yd sprint
20 pushups
50 yd sprint
20 squats
1 min plank

60 second break

1 round of stadium stairs (pack)
20 bleacher step ups w/pack

60 second break

2 sets stadium stair sprints (no pack)

vomit in the grass

50 yd sprint
10 lunges
50 yd sprint
20 pushups
50 yd sprint
20 squats
1 min plank

short uncontrollable sob

2 min rest

4 hill sprints w/pack

cool down walk
stretch

Yuk....

I have a 250 yard hill loop, first 100 yards is 15 degrees, then 50 yards of 45-55 degree, then 50 yards of 15 deg, then another 50 yard 45-55 deg....then it loops back to its self on relatively mild slope

80 pounds on the pack....walk the first time for warm up...then walk the mild parts & run the steep parts for 5 more consecutive loops....very controled & slow on the way down

Well that really sucked! We did not finish. We skipped out on the weighted Hill runs. We did everything else go by the end we were pretty cooked from the Heat! SageWalker is a beast and thank goodness he's there to keep my ass stepping!

Add some fat onto your bones that way you can pack less food  in.  :chuckle:
My wife told me that I hunt way more than I did when we first got married. I said yeah I know isn't it great !

Looks like I need to step up my endurance each day to keep up with you when we get to my hunt. But to steal the line from coachcw: "trust a old wise man . walk up the hill and shoot a bull .....its way easier than running".
My thought is to let the .300 Weatherby do the running for me   :chuckle:
