Truly a great write up and a great experience to share with us.   I know your brother is proud and looking down.   Great bull and even better tribute.  That bull will pay any tag justice, especially with the meaning of that bull and hunt to you and the community.   Thanks again for sharing this amazing adventure.

Wow, simply wow.  Karl, I'm thankful your plans worked out and your friends experienced this hunt with you.  That was awesome and so is the bull.  Aaron would have led the charge with you at the end.  Congratulations to you, welllllllllll done!

Well Said , I'm truly honored to have been a part of it . I have felt so many emotions through the last couple years , Knowing the passing of Arron brought us together and knowing with that was such loss for family and friends . I keep telling myself that is what creates a legacy for a man . Arron was to young no doubt but he brought so many people together in different ways and made many realize how trivial the little day to day bothers are in the big picture. For that I'm thankful every day. You have done so much to honor him and to show respect for those who serve us all (that's part of your legacy ) .....I'm also glad that you left out the part about the big fella getting a eye full of dust.
My wife told me that I hunt way more than I did when we first got married. I said yeah I know isn't it great !

Very well said Cory, and I bet 99% of guys if they could have been there would have gotten dust in their eyes!!

Great write up Karl, as I told you last weekend it is an honor to know you and become friends. You did the tag justice, I know Aaron is smiling down at you. The honor you show towards your brother, is awesome too. The bond between brothers is so strong, you are a great brother. I know most of us had a little dust in our eyes, the day we got word that the bull was on the ground. You set a goal and made it happen.   :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Great write up and thanks for sharing in detail such a personal experience.

BLR, Coach and team congrats on the great tribute to Aaron.

I would like to suggest that your awesome write up end up in a national outdoors magazine so everyone in this great country may know what a great man Aaron was, and the greatness of his younger brother and those who supported him.  I know it has been my honor to follow the story and pray for your success in this endeavor, and now I need to wipe the dust out of my eyes again.

God bless you all ....  :twocents:

Storytelling is talked about often nowadays seemingly more of a buzz word than associating it with real story and smart writing; this is a great example of pulling each of us into your journey in your own words; great read and congratulations!

I'm glad no one is in the office yet to hear me sniffling either! :-)
