I was given an opportunity recently to tell this story as well as talk about Aaron, our fallen heroes, gold star families, and giving back to our veteran community on the Rich Outdoors Podcast.  Cody was super cool to talk to and it felt good to tell the story out loud.  I HATE the sound of my own voice so I couldn't listen to it but people say it was a good listen.  If you listen, I hope you enjoy it.

Listened to it this afternoon. We have never met and I joined the site too late to have been here with your brother but it made me a little emotional hearing you retell it. I'm glad you got another platform to spread the story and your message of helping veterans.

Great podcast! Just finished lisenting to it sitting in The Hut on water waiting for The elusive wapiti to wander in. Here in the woods of ID.

I found it.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
