Look it up, it's a brand new community group that is just getting started. Maybe you will run into someone you know and maybe learn some new things.

I'm assuming he means this? https://www.facebook.com/backcountryhabitat/?fref=nf

I've heard about this site on numerous hunting podcasts, sounds like a good organization.

Could be this one since he said it was fairly new  :dunno: https://www.facebook.com/groups/WashingtonBackcountryHunters/

I joined at the minimum level to see what they are about. Pretty much an old school public land conservation organization. Very focused on federal land. I like what I've seen so far. They are fairly politically moderate, which for better or worse is not the norm in a pro hunting organization right now, but I think gives them a unique appeal.

Backcountry Hunters and Anglers is not new. Not sure what group the OP is referring to.

There's lots of info in this very forum board and a pretty fair amount of talk in here.  There's also Rokslide which has tons of backcountry hunters participating. I don't know if there's a better option than Rokslide.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
