Bear hunting/elk/deer/cougar scouting trips partner
« on: July 27, 2016, 08:19:03 PM »
Sorry about short notice but I recently got divorced and plans haven't been easy.  I am planning hunting trips in August 13th-17th and 27-31st bear hunting and scouting.  I am looking for someone who would be willing to split fuel food costs.  I purchased a brand new truck camper.  I have a ATV and licensed dual sport if someone knows how to ride.  I have calls and all predator hunting gear.  Looking to go to Twisp or Mt. Adams or both.  I have scouted and know these areas pretty well and have seen a lot of bear in these areas as well as a lot of other wildlife.  got a bear in Twisp.  I have been fortunate on this site and have hooked up with some great hunting partners and had a lot of fun.   I am an easy going guy.  My only concern would the guy who has trouble not following through on commitments.  Night before calls "oh sorry I have to work  my wife says I can't go now"  Bring any gear you want I have a utility trailer I haul my bike and ATV in.  only thing you really need is food, clothes, rifle.  When I hunt I hunt!  It is not a weekend spent drunk at the campsite.  I enjoy kicking back in the evening but I am a serious hunter and do it right.   I hope someone is available.  I only have room for one in the truck camper as the dinette converts in to bed.  The camper has an built in liquid propane generator so you have 110 volt power anywhere to cook run ac and microwave and charge cell phones GPS etc.  I check this site often.  Would be nice to find somebody near Olympia, WA where I live to plan future hunts or fishing.  I forgot I do have an .30 06 and 220 gr ammo to use if someone does not have a bear gun.

Killer offer for someone! Hopefully you'll find another hunter that can take you up on it, I know the pains it can be to find a reliable partner!

That is an awesome offer. Growing up, we took ATVs all over the mountains in Idaho to track down the deer -- best time ever. Too bad you don't live near the 'Couve! Hope you find a great partner :)

Very generous of you. I wish I had more time to take off during the week.  Good luck this season.
