Got my copy a couple of weeks ago, great book so far!
My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

It is books like this that make me think back to the days before I had kids and could just go hog wild in the woods.  It's all good though, once the little ones are no longer wearing tree cornered pants I will have my little hunting partners out in the woods giving mommy all the alone time anyone could ever want.

Don't know if the little ones will be as into it as Bridget, who I have pictures of looking through rifle scopes at six-months old and is game for anything that involves guns and/or bows and/or hunting... but I can dream.

I remember back to the days we chased bear with dogs and hunted out of tree stands over bait, 20 years before I was even married, how I was thinking about bear hunting w/my future kids.  I have never called bear but I sure the heck am looking forward to it after reading his two books that not only entertain, they educate.

I read the book and for only the second time in my life saw a bear during season. It was about half my size so I let it walk though. I'd recommend it, especially for guys like me who had no clue about hunting bears.

Just a monthly bump.

"Ultimate Guide To Black Bear Hunting" could make a great gift under the tree or in the stocking.

A book about stalking, in the stocking... :chuckle: :tung:

Spring bear is just around the corner. Knowledge is power.

Happy holidays everyone.

I again, want to thank each and everyone of you who have supported me and/or came out to some of my bear hunting seminars at Cabelas.

Cheers guys and gals, happy hunting or trapping!

Spring bear is just around the corner. Don't forget to put in for the draw! If you've never hunted spring bear, the book can help. Good luck on the draw everyone!

Is it in Cabela's now? I won't give Amazon a dime of my business.
