And we're off..........
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

The two adventurers had crossed paths for the 1st time in a time when the great hunter (Corey) no-hair slayed the fire breathing dragon (big nasty). One had ventured into unknown territory bringing gifts and offerings (firesticks) to appease the weary travelers.

Now that I am a mod I can come back to this in November, cut and paste it, delete the excessive spacing that is bound to happen and post the final edited story back on page one for all to read.  ;)
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

The gifts and offerings were accepted but not enjoyed. :dunno: as adventurers had moved on to settle down in greener pastures. The following year the Get Sum tribe had begun their journey to chase dragons again while the lone traveler had started his journey to scale the high mts into the clouds to fight with the sky demons (Mt goats).

After several months of both camps unsuccessfully bringing down their creatures they converged on a cliff top. A sky demon had been spotted and slain. Amongst the rabble of the cliffs a new traveler had come into the mix who has seen many seasons of battle and yet puts his armor on season after season.

Now the back story comes to this chapter in our story of the Get Sum having a fellow warrior do battle with dragons in a far off land where many great warriors don't dare venture.

That warrior he-who-walks-with-goats (blrman) had begun his journey with a warriors send off. As our two adventurers pondered their journey and awaited the arrival of the other tribesmen they knew not what to do.

A plan had been hatched to do battle with dragons nearby where dragons had been spotted in seasons past. The two warriors did not have armor. They merely had plain old cloth that a bat could see flying at night from miles away.
