Foxpro calls
« on: October 09, 2016, 10:14:44 PM »
I've been using my wildfire for a couple seasons now. Seems like the remote reception sucks. I'm lucky to get more than 40yards away before it drops the signal. That's if I'm sitting at a higher elevation. Anyone know if the other foxpro model have longer reception? Or at least more consistent signals. None of the models tell you the true distance for the remote control.

I've got an old CS24B and it supposedly it's good for 200 yards with good line of sight.  Never had it that far, but I've done 100+ and didn't give it any thought.

Make sure you got a good battery in your remote and antenna seated good, check for bad solider joints.

I did some looking and your remote is also rated for 200 yards in ideal conditions, I say you have something wrong.  Call FOXPRO,  their customer service is said to be outstanding though I have no personal experience with it.

My spitfire is good for about 50 yards.  Beyond that I need to stand up, mess with the angle, etc..

My wildfire I can get about 50 yards in most places. Past about 70 yards it becomes hit or miss
