Here you go, I got Email from Wa dept, it say:

Dear coonhunter,

     Thanks for contacting us here at the Wildlife Department and the
numbers I got from one of our specialist here was given to me as is,
here they are;

Here are the applicant counts for the 2007 cougar special hunts:

9001:    489
9002:    403
9003:    525
9004:    465
