Absolutely sickening!! I heard about this from an old timer that was coming out of the hills on the last day. He had so many crazy stories I was hoping this one wasn't for real. Hopefully, they find them and throw the book at them!!!

He also told me that a bunch of hunters showed up and helped pack/drag all the elk out so they wouldn't go to waste.

I hate this kind of crap!!! Hope they catch these dumb $&@ scum!

Does anyone remember the guy who shot up a herd at elk heights rd about 12 years back? Came in to L T Murry on the last day of modern and there were a bunch of warden rig there with elk in the back. A warden said one guy went crazy when the herd came through and just started shooting. Pretty sure they caught up with him.
My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

This is absolutely absurd!!! I hope that if anyone on this forum has any information or knows who has done this does the right thing and turn them in. It doesn't matter if you know them, either friends or family, YOU have to do the right thing!!!

The herd was held up tight in that field where those iron elk silhouette's are now?  Then someone scared them out, and the lady living in the house across the road, tried to split the herd to help them with her truck.  They ended running behind her house where the slaughter was.  Dad and I were there 2 hours later and seen elk being loaded, and many blood trails in the snow while driving up the road

Why would they be shooting so many calves out of the group? Hoping maybe one of them had some small spike nubbins to be a legal spike? Or just spraying bullets at a legal spike in the group and hit a bunch of non legal animals in the process?

Same.  You tend to see a lot of that type of bs in order to create their false reality.
