Bring a predator call. If you can hunt on an ATV, use it. You have to have insurance on them and have the Idaho ATV license plate. They're about $25, but well worth it. You can go behind locked/closed gate legally, for the ATV nazis, and get back a ways. The absolute most sign I ever saw was at Elk City. We were way behind the gates on our ATV's, right out of town. There is a motel in town and a nice RV park too.

I found out our regional Vice President is from Idaho and still goes home to hunt throughout the year. He told me that the electronic calls are not working well anymore out there but, I do have a coyote mouth call.

My trapper friend goes up there in the winter and snowmobiles into Gold Creek(?), north of Nordman, ( I think that's the name ) again, a real nice little motel there and RV park, no gas there, just south about 10 miles or so. I'be been all over northern Idaho hunting them and the locals will tell you exactly where they've seen them. They hate wolves with a passion, unlike Washington.
