Have you been ripped off by Shane Barbour?
« on: December 09, 2016, 08:52:01 AM »
So as the subject says, I'm looking for people who may have been ripped off by Shane Barbour or his outfitting business. I used to do some work for the guy along with another person, and we have finally seen through all the bs. We're tired of seeing what he does to the hunting world and have decided to do something about it. If you feel you meet this description please message me so we can talk further. This post is 100% serious so please reach out. Thanks.

That guy has a bunch of posts on facebook in the elk addicts group showing him and clients with elk. He makes himself sound like the greatest ever. I remember a previous thread about the guy. I've never dealt with him so I can't pass any judgment.

We should have at least a half dozen doozy threads about this on here.  Peruse those and you can net some disturbing information.    I'm not sure if they are public. I know he threatened to sue us, and they might have been removed to avoid hassle.

Lets make an attempt to keep this thread directly  related to what the OP is asking. Please send him messages with the info he's looking for. The guy in question has threatened lawsuits on the forum for stuff like this. If it gets out of hand, I will nuke the thread without hesitation.

Just putting that out there and asking for all of your cooperation.

Thank you.

Again, I know Shane's reputation hence why we're trying to do something. He can threaten lawsuits all he wants but as a previous employee of his I know it's all smoke and he has no intention to ever sue anyone. With that being said if people could message me directly and we keep it at that it would be great. Thanks!

I highlighted the important part in all of this.
He can threaten lawsuits all he wants, but the forum is not going to be threatened over someone else's issues with the guy. That's all I'm saying.
