Ok I jump in on this one.  You have had a lot of views with no response...it kind of reads like you want to know where to hunt. I don't think that is what you are asking but it kind of sounds like it. I am a wet-sider, any time I head east to hunt I bring the boat. Always better to have it than to wish you did.
Good luck and safe travels

No clue about ML, everything was wide open two weeks ago, but that doesn't mean jack now.  If it were me, I'd haul my boat over and if it's locked up just head over to the Columbia for some divers.    :twocents:

Things are kicking up pretty good. Lots of ice around. Not very thick and by not very thick I mean it's thick but not safe to walk on. Bring the boat with you as a back up just incase

Not looking for areas. We have walleye fished over there many times and know where the ducks are if not frozen. Have back areas if water is iced over. Boat is coming so we have it if needed.

More specifically, mouth of Rocky Ford Creek.

More specifically, mouth of Rocky Ford Creek.

When the lake gets drawn down as it does each fall the closest launch gets about 100 yards of mud out to where there's water.  Best you could hope for is that mud is frozen hard enough to walk across.

made a trip into town today.  Last one there was Tuesday.  Tuesday the lake was open and this morning there were 12 skinny ice fishermen out on the lake.

I'm gonna try and get out fishing or hunting or both the next day or two. To bad about a Porterhouse not being any good. If I want to take my wife to a nice dinner we go to Dons in Soap Lake or Pillar Rock in Mae Valley.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!
