Air gun
« on: January 01, 2017, 10:16:26 AM »
Is it legal to hunt rabbits with a air gun? Or are the only things you can hunt unclassified wildlife?

And it is a 1200 fps .177 cal

Legally, only unclassified wildlife which a rabbit is not.

European rabbit is unclassified
https://www.howlforwildlife.org/take_action  It takes 10 seconds and it’s free. To easy to make an excuse not to make your voice heard!!!!!!

Yes. they are considered unclassified wildlife. The city part is subject to local restrictions.

The trouble is that most airguns powerful enough for coyotes are about as loud as a 22. It would get you around certain firearm-restricted areas though.
