2017 Spring Bear Apps
« on: January 20, 2017, 01:56:21 PM »
Just spoke with someone from DFW, and while 2017 licenses should go on sale either today or Monday, we won't be able to submit spring bear apps until the middle of February. Deadline will still be 2/28, so we will have just two weeks to do it.

In all fairness, if you can't get an app submitted within two weeks, you have problems. :twocents:

It's a new system, and hopefully they get the kinks out sooner rather than later.
If you aint hunting, you aint livin'

Wait..... I still can't log in to the Wdfw system without having to purchase something!!  It goes straight to that page... Sure was glad they called me back so I could put in my harvest report after they told me "Wait 7 to 10 days and everything should be good to go" and of course it still didn't work...  :bash:  :bash: :bash: I wonder if I can delete my account and start over??

I can confirm this. I was having issues getting signed into the new interface. After several phone calls, etc, it finally accepted my user name and password. WDFW did mention that they do control when the deadline is for the spring bear application and that may be affected if they cannot get the site online in time.

You'd go all the way to Wyoming to hunt Turkey? Working on a slam?

The turkeys in Wyoming taste better.   :chuckle:

Actually, I am just opted in for Wyoming notifications, and they don't allow you to select which species you want notifications on.

Now question is how do you submit an application with the new system?

After you select big game you then have to select next year's documents. It will either be at the top, or at the very bottom if you are on a mobile device.
