From Wyoming
« on: January 27, 2017, 07:53:08 PM »
Wolves attacked our replacement heifers last night, on private property, where we winter them. Two confirmed kills. The 650 lb calves had their guts ripped out of them as they struggled to get away. These calves were not eaten, but rather left to waste. I'm posting this merely to show the "reality" of wolves. Ranching is our business, livelihood, and most importantly, my families way of life. How do we, as ranchers, compete with these "protected", cold blooded killers?

That sucks wolf, sorry about that.

Isn't that along ways to truck cattle for the winter?  :dunno:

Not my cows Boss, post is from a ranch in Wyoming. I'm sure some of the ranchers in WA know the pain of losing cattle, and then having to deal with an agency that doesn't give two cent.

sorry man!  THanks for posting. It is important that these types of pictures be posted on sites where people are against wildlife management, not predominately for it. Just my suggestion and  :twocents:

Farmers should have free reign at retaliation IMO. And there should be yearly draws for management. No species should be allowed to repopulate without some sort of management unless they are in a classification in par with a bald eagle.
