Who keeps records of sheds and where do you have them scored? Where is the record book kept?

Washington state big game book. You can have them scored at the sportsmans shows.

There's also this:

They would score as the #2 set in the matched set category it looks like...scroll down.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Nice sheds Sern, I saw them Saturday great bull for sure, those genetics are sweet, I get excited just thinking about the possibilities for future bulls, my sheds ranked 7th and 8th in the non-typical category, now that the G-3 bull is dead I can share a few pictures.

Danderson, that bull is out of this world! I'm glad you posted him, and it's funny you did. On the way home from the sportsman show my brother and I talked about Mr G-3 and wondered what his horns scored. We thought he would be neck and neck with my mom's set. The genetics in that whole general area are limitless.

What did G-3's antlers score, if you don't mind sharing?

Thanks for posting the pic. Hope that bull did some serious lovin in his day!

My set scored 433 5/8, with a 40 inch spread credit , when he got hit he scored 424 5/8, its spread was 43 1/8, both were mounted by the Elk Foundation.

Amazing.

Sternwarning- sweet that you got a pic of him on the hoof before finding his sheds.

Danderson- did you have history or know of the g-3 bull before you found his sheds? (Seems like I remember reading something from you about it..?) Great finds!!!!

Amazing sheds!! Took an amazing animal to grow those sets of antlers.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I had pretty much found his bedroom, winter and summer range, many great game camera pictures in different velvet and hard horned stages since 2012, yeah we had history, I have some great video of him at 30 yards bugling and tearing it up during the rut also, i'll share at some point.
